My work in clinical research began at the site level, as a clinical research coordinator supporting participants, investigators, and study teams directly. That experience still shapes how I think about leadership, operations, and compliance, and it grounds every engagement in the realities of how research is actually conducted day to day.
Over the past decade, I have built and scaled operations across fast-moving, high-growth, and startup research environments. Much of my work has focused on creating clarity where complexity exists, designing workflows, governance structures, and operational systems that support reliable, high-quality clinical trial execution.
This experience includes leading operational buildouts from the ground up, supporting decentralized and hybrid research models, stabilizing struggling sites and programs, and partnering closely with leadership teams to address structural gaps that limit performance. The environments have ranged from early-stage startups to rapidly scaling organizations navigating regulatory expectations, resource constraints, and aggressive timelines.
I founded Northstar Research Partners to bring this experience to organizations that need senior-level operational and compliance leadership without the overhead of a permanent executive role. Engagements often begin with my direct involvement and, when appropriate, expand to include trusted experts from my professional network to support specific needs or areas of depth.
At Northstar, the focus is on practical clarity. I work with organizations to design intentional, scalable systems that reinforce operational integrity, strengthen quality, and support day-to-day execution in real clinical environments. The approach blends strategic judgment with hands-on practicality, helping teams implement meaningful change that holds up over time.
Operational excellence is not accidental. It is designed.
